Rick and Nancy (westerner) came to visit us for last 3 days. Rick emailed me about 10 months ago and said they'd be in the neighborhood and wanted to come visit us! I just assumed they were coming to visit relatives, etc. They came to visit Portland, to see me and Ms. Donna! What a fabulous time we had. From Happy Hour, to a ride on the MAX downtown, to do some shopping and sight seeing , and a wonderful Italian lunch.

Of course we had to do an inspection on their rig!!! Just a few tweeks here and there and we were good to go! The biggest thing we did was shim their refer door to latch properly.

We really enjoyed our visit with these very gracious and fun folks! Oh, I almost forgot the kids (2 black schnauzers)!

Almost forgot....Rick and Nancy came bearing gifts....they knew I'm an Elk and on occassion have a glass of that fine Walmart Oak Poop wine!! So they bought me a little Elk Poop soap......check it out. This just proves that someone out there loves me!!!! Thanks guys~~~

Thanks for the kind words, Tom! Just got to the Coast. Having been "meeting" via emails and the Forum, it was great to have an opportunity to finally meet you and Donna in person. You are wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed our visit with you. You are even more handsome and insightful in person than your pictures and posts portray! [I lost that slip of paper you gave me with what to say, so I hope I remembered that last sentence correctly].

We look forward to visiting with you and Donna again. Thanks for a great visit- we let the good times roll.
