Awning Long Order Lead Time

Yep, I tried providing a 2 month lead time for the awning but the shop still wasn't sure that it would be in, in-time, for my application. I sure could use one. It's been a blazing hot summer.

I went to look at the paint, that’s another story….any ways I took this photo to show the difference between Carl’s and mine. I never had the 12 volt receptor. I added one in, put it in the wall next to the washer dryer. Easy run to the battery from there. I am guessing it may be due to the Direct Tv satellite. I had the cable box behind the door but it had to be open so I drilled the ugly hole into the washer/dryer area and brought the cable and power cords down, now the box sits on the dresser. Bought the extent of my ability!!!

Tried to edit that but could not figure it out, should proof read my stuff. It was poorly written from my IPhone after a few glasses of wine.......

The one photo shows the difference between the two rigs, I do not have the 12 volt connection Carl has, instead I had a second coaxial cable connection. I believe this is due to Directv. One is for the Satellite and the other is for the antennae.

I added the 12 volt plug. It comes off the battery, runs along the basement ceiling and up through the washer/dryer compartment. The faceplate is put behind the cabinet to the left of the TV. I mostly use that for a 300 watt inverter.

The directv cable box was located in that same compartment, making it difficult to control the Directv box with the cabinet door closed. I drilled that ugly hole behind the 12 volt faceplate, ran the satellite tv box power cord and the coaxial wire down the washer/dryer closet. I drilled another hole in the wall just above the dresser, and put in that cover. Now the cable box sets on the dresser.

Hopefully that clarifies the photos a little better..
