The fuse for the reading lights above the bed has blown the last three moves we've made. It never has blown when we are parked and using the lights, but when we move and get set back up, it's blown. On the last move, I pulled the fuse and replaced it after we set up. Working fine. Anyone seen this before?

Don,
I would try to verify if the fuse blows with the movement of the BR slide or if it only does it with movement of the coach going down the road. If it we me, I'd turn on the "over the bed lights" and stand there and watch the lights, while someone exercises the BR slide (may want to do it several times). If it blows the fuse when that happens, pull the lights down and inspect wires/socket, then if OK, pulls the junk

from under the bed and pull the access panel and get to work viewing the wiring, especially where it gets close to the ram operations. If it doesn't blow the fuse, you may follow the wires outside the BR slide area and looked for chaffed or bare wires getting to ground somewhere. Hope this makes sense to you. This is where I'd start. Don't try to oversize the fuse, not a good idea. Always keep in mind to do the easiest things first! It's easy to get carried away and start yanking stuff out without thinking. Please keep us posted on your finding!
I would also find out what else is on that light circuit. Tom

Yes, the fuse for my "parlor" overhead reading light would go in the same fashion. Smith Center fixed it.

A wire underneath the slide had become exposed and the action of the slide caused it to crimp against the chassis and ground/short.

Think the information Tom gave is what I would suggest also. It would be helpful to know what else is on that circuit as Tom said.

You can determine that by turning on all the lights, with a good fuse, and then pull that fuse to see what goes out. Would suspect it would be the bedroom and possible bath lights. If the fuse blowes while the slide is going in/out you would know its in the slide circuit. A visual inspection of the wire harness below the bed might determine that also.

Well, I got around to it today. We are changing our mattress, so figured this would be a good time to get under the bed. First off, I can't believe how much dust accumulates under the false floor. Might have been leftover production dust since we bought the rig new in Nov. Fix was very simple, followed the wires until I found the pinch point between the false floor and the frame. Insulation was worn and rubbing on slide frame. Repaired the wires and cut a notch in the wood for the wire to fit through. Ran slide in and out and lights still work. Thanks for all the troubleshooting suggestions. They got me started in the right direction without going in circles a few times before gettin there.
