In the left side of the photo, the brush looking thing I believe to be the ELECT-A-HEAT heater I assume you have? Not really a heater in the way we refer to heaters I quess. Wish I had one of my unit to take the chill off at times. I believe the bolt is what mounts the element to the frame.

Can't believe with all the product literature RVP provides...they don't reference or show that elements anywhere?

You might be able to use a mirror to 'get an angled' view of the bolt without removing the covers on the roof. Not use you can install it if it's missing from below.

I looked at the photos Rockin' had sent me in the past as well as those I've taken...I can see a bolt that looks simular to this on the fan blades for the outside fan...can't see the bolt used on the squirrl cage for the supply air used inside the unit. As the chambers for the supply and return air is isolated/sealed from each other, I don't see how the bolt could have gotten into the return air side.

Word from the manufacturer

That appears to be the fan clamp bolt. This part will not show in a
breakdown, it actually comes as part of the fan blade.
...
If this fell off on the inside, I would say that it is the one from the
blower wheel. If this is the case, you will need to remove the motor
from the air conditioner to access the blower wheel up on the roof.

Which is the same procedure Ralph at PI described. Now I'm back asking again for an exploded view diagram.
