I'd like to install a few brighter bulbs in the wall lamps, like the reading lights over the couch. Anyone suggest a better bulb?

I'm surprised no one has responded to this question.

We've noticed that Class A's are using a lot of halogen lighting, which seems to be very good for reading. We are hoping that our new Excel (we don't have one yet) will have ample lighting, but if not, we will definitely want to upgrade... especially for reading.

It would be interesting to hear whether others have felt this was a issue and, if so, what has been done to remedy the problem.

Try Innovative Lighting, they have a wide assortment of marine and RV lighting products.
