It was not sealed by the company PI contracted for full body paint. The units shipped from PI to Iowa for paint and then to dealership. The company that painted the Excels did not propetly seal many things after painting.

Yes we are finding them we have had this leak from new out at the factory 2 times and it was not found by them either.
I just got lucky and found it today because I had to clean the lint out had water in the flex for the dryer also

our 14 sdf also had water, quite a bit, coming from the pinbox area after sitting for a time and than hooking up. the first time all the trailer except the front cap was under cover(plan ahead when you build a cover). I had the dealer look at it when we took it in for black tank replacement and they sealed around the clearance lights. they said the rubber looked like it had dried and shrunk. we have had a lot of rain here in texas so I lowered the front and no water came out. will keep checking.
