I hear ya, Rjay

Warfarin's the active ingredient in D-con!
My husband had hip surgery this spring, and I was flabbergasted when the doc told me to give him Rat Poison...

At first I thought the Doc was sympathizing with me because the Patient was being such a big baby...

You put lots of things in your body that in a different amount would be deadly. Drink too much water and it can kill you.

Since there are some health issues possible with skin contact of grease the checker may be required to check id on any purchase. There is so much misinformation out there that she may well believe that it is used to make meth.

Francesca...you should just replace the label on his wafarin with a label from Dcon. keep him in line for a while.

I'm pretty sure she was thinking of lithium grease when she checked Rockin's i.d.
(altho some of the other comments could have merit too.. )
Methamphetamine is so addictive that it's become a scourge to our whole country. It costs $10,000 a day to treat one of those idiots that blow up their meth lab and get taken to the burn center at Vanderbilt Hospital, and guess who pays THAT bill....

I have had some strange ID requests too.. One clerk told me "It is the law"

Well.... I worked for "The Law" (Michigan state police" so I checked, not just with my supervisor but with the Attorney General's office (Handy having the state internal phone book) and there is no law for the material I was buying requiring ID, and it's not a drug or product used to make drugs.

Of course if the store policy is to ask, then they ask.. But the store did get a complaint out of me for it.. Perhaps they will be more cautious next time.

And for a clerk to say "It's the law" when it's not... IS ILLEGAL. (misrepresentation) But I'll leave it to attorneys to pursue that one.
