The Vertglas is a fiberglass/gelcoat restorer, not something you'd use on a day-to-day, or even a year-to-year, basis.

We've had several friends who have used a similar product (whose name escapes me at the moment...CRS, you know ) on their faded fiberglass sidings with outstanding results.

Yes, it is labor intensive and expensive, but when you're trying to *restore* fiberglass/gelcoat, it's well worth it.

Here is a link to the product that I was talking about. They have products for all types of cleaning. I have been very happy with those that I have used. They also have an product to remove oxizadation off. I used it on my boat and was pleased with the results but my boat was very bad and needs it again.

Thanks for the info. I see on that site that they have DriWash'nGuard Classic priced at 32oz w/applicator $38.95 and refill 64oz $71.95. About how much would be needed for the first time and for subsequent treatments? (I have a 2006 33(35')ltd model...

Brian,

I'd get the 64oz bottle. Since you will use most of the 32oz on the first time washing the rig. After that you use less. Only should need to use 3 times a year. You can use it on every vehicle also.

one thing to remember with the dry wash is that "a little bit goes a long way"

A lot of fulltime RV'ers sell this tuff also. I can add links if you want to support a full-timer, instead of the main company (same price, but you will be helping someone out)

Heck, you can become a distributor, and save money on the orders
