I do preflight tire pressure check by turning on my TPMS, go do something else for a few minutes, come back and check the screen from the easy chair. One of the best things about having a TPMS, IMHO.

I always do a visual check for cuts, cracks, foreign objects as well as look at the suspension and wheel hubs for leaks.

Chief,
That is something I do when moving from wheel to wheel. It was easy to set the tank down next to each tire and like you do a visual inspection of tire and suspension along with the pressure check. I have a Pressure Pro System but I haven't put it on this coach. I think I want to switch to a system with the pass through sensors that don't have to be removed to add air.
