Excel tank maker located (Re: gray water tank crack)

According to the folks at Dillon's RV City in Apache Junction (former Excel dealer) the manufacturer is:

Thermovac Plastics
Thermovac Inc
1120 West Beech St
Chanute, KS 66720
Phone: (620) 431-3270

Web: Welcome to Thermo Vac - Home (but this leads only to the parent company's site in Michigan that mentions only metals).

I located this email address on Google but can't vouch for it:: t.stetson@thermovac.com .

These folks are slow to respond. Dillon's is still waiting since Friday to hear back from them re my particular tank.

Tank maker (CORRECTION + more to the story)

Turns out that Jennifer at Thermovac in Chanute sold her Excel tank inventory to:
Trailer Parts Supply
421 E. 21st St. North
Wichita, KS
Scott Alter, Tel. 316-262-1234

Jennifer says she's out about $15K due to the Excel closure. She had just shipped them $5K worth of parts to week prior to shutdown.

She says Excel had been slow to pay for the past 18 months or so, and she suspected something was up. If true, this doesn't reflect well on Excel.

I just emailed Jennifer at Thermovac in Chanute and she replied:
"I still have several of the 25 x 68 x 7 and 8's at the shop still I will be glad to help others get some parts if needed Thank you "
Jennifer Thermovac1@sbcuglobal.net

My gray water tank measures 36 x 69 x ,7 so it sounds like she's referring to the black tank which is 44 gals. at least for the 2014 Excels.

Scott Alter at Trailer Parts Supply, Inc. in Wichita appears to have a number of tanks he purchased off Jennifer.

So that's encouraging.BTW, UPS shipping isn't cheap on over-sized items like these. About $140 from Wichita to Apache Junction, AZ.

Since my warranty is now kaput with the Excel demise, I'll beout about $1200 for the tank + labor charges.

Any lawyers out there know if Excel owners have legal recourse for unfulfilled warranty obligations like these?

Would cost more in attorney fees plus travel time etc etc than worth. Plus I have a feeling there isn't anything there to recoup.

The handwriting was on the wall. Amazes me that a vendor would let any vulnerable RV manufacturer get that far in the rears. As we all know, RV, boats and the like get awful weak in a soft economy. I know....easy said after the fact. rockin'
