I have tried to locate a non petroleum based silicone food grade spray for slides etc but can only get a CRC website. Any info on where one could be purchased, other than online. My newsletter recommends this product, so I thought I would try it out.

I have bought the food grade at Home Depot in TN. Look in the electrical section. I believe it was CRC brand. Personally I prefer Kel brand. Don't know if they have a website or not. We used to use it to topseal our custom laminate countertops after we installed them. Then when we had our own cabinet company, we ordered it by the case (don't remember from who) and would give a can to our customers who ordered laminate countertops (either custom or post-forms).

I have been using a Teflon spray after thoroughly cleaning and drying the slide rails on all three sides. I don't think this product is petroleum based.

Does anyone know if this product is OK to use?
