Where do you pull your trailers for the winter. We're new and looking for suggestions...Preferably Casa Grande, Tuscon or Phoneix area.

A lot depends on what you like to do and how busy an area you would like to be in .
A lot of choices in the areas you mentioned, personally on our first year snow-birding we moved 3 times Casa Grande ,first ,OK , but too busy an area for our liking. Apache Junction, second month , same issues. Then Needles CA. a county park on the Colorado River, for the third month. Too big a swing the other direction. The solitude was ok for the first 2 weeks.
Second year we found our spot , on the advice of friends we moved south of Lake Havasu City, small park with a 9 hole golf course, on the river, lots of things going on , although not as nice a set up as other parks , quiet enough for me and close enough to shopping for the DW. Golf , cards , swimming when the weather is nice, and great people.
JMHO. Make a list of the parks in the areas you mentioned , check out the amenities, looking for the ones that interest you the most, book in for a month,( cheapest rates ) then use that time to explore and decide if that's where you want to stay.

We will be doing the same thing, starting in about 6 weeks. I have researched several areas, and campgrounds, and we will start at the LTVA at Imperial Dam, just north of Yuma. We want to try our hand at Boondocking. After that, move around and see where we do and do not like. For the first time I would just enjoy different areas, as the previous poster said. Maybe we will cross paths ?

A few other Exceler's go to Justin's Diamond J just outside Tucson. Nice and quiet no frills but clean and nice. Close to all the Tucson stuff. We were there 2 years ago and will go back. But its Florida this year.

The DW and I will be in Mesa, AZ starting November 1st. We are staying at the Val Vista Resort. We were there last year and enjoyed our winter stay. There is plenty to do each day, you can be as busy as you like. Plus the scenery around Phoenix is just amazing. Groceries are close by, plenty of restaurants, Lowes and Home Depot nearby and many other attractions for your pleasure.

If you happen to be retired military, Nellis AFB in Las Vegas is very nice and no shortage of things to do and see. I'm there from 1 Oct to 1 Jan then head south for the tent event in Q. Big Bend State Park a mile south of Laughlin, NV is nice and right on the Colorado River. If you are near Yuma, AZ the border crossing at Los Alcondonas is quite an experience and safe.

This is an OK park to stop for a night or two......for winter....no way, but we know folks that have wintered there. Just depends on what you want. We have enjoyed Casa Grande, Mesa, the RGV of TX, and Southern CA (Hemet for us). We do enjoy several amenities and activities! We did some time in FL but DW didn't care for the atmosphere especially the humidity and bugs. rockin'
