Good-bye Alfa, hello Excel

We have a new 31RSE waiting for us in Granbury, TX which is about 350 miles away. The weather looks favorable for this week-end so we will probably go up
then. The Alfa is an 05 model and I am comfortable in it and working on it but it has probably 60K miles on it and is showing it's age and wear.

I guess it's like my old John Deere hat that my wife hates that I can't quite seem to throw away. The hat has been through a lot of experiences with me, shaded my eyes for 5 or so years, warmed my head and saved me many a scrape on the head. It will also be going and replaced by newer one.
Anyway, it's good-bye Alfa and John Deere hat and hello Excel and new hat.
Well, I may hold off on the hat a while longer.

We understand your reluctance to change as we went from our 2005 to a 2012 Excel Limited in November. No new hat required tho. Enjoy ur new home and you'll love our Excel family....well....most of us. Lol.

Congrats on the new Excel. Make sure if the dealer doesn't give you a new hat, attend several Excel events and you will have a collection of Excel hats.

Congratulations, TTS.

Just realized I didn't get a hat. Guess we'll have to attend an Excel function. The last one we attended was in 1997 when we got our 97 Classic. Our youngest daughter was just starting high school and I remember thinking how out of place I felt with all these old folks. Certainly wouldn't feel out of place now.
