Grease bolt for shackle hanger.

Does anyone know the size of the grease bolt used to bolt the leaf spring to the shackle mounts?

Likely 9/16 x 3 5/8". We do not what weight capacity the springs are or much anything about your trailer.

If you are changing the wet bolts I'd also recommend you replace the shackle bushings with good bronze units. The common OEM plastic bushings don't last very long.

Installing wet bolts requires a specific procedure, follow them for best results. Once you determine the proper diameter and length go to NAPA to buy the kits.

Rburke8, Thanks for the topic. Never thought it was a topic I had to consider until I crawled under the trailer to discover grease zerks. Another project to add to the to do list.
