Halogen Bulbs Burned Out

Donna went to turn on the halogen ceiling lights in the sofa slide tonight. None of the three lights came on. My first thought was a fuse. All fuses OK. So I take a bulb out of one and check the resistance. Open. Replaced it and that light worked! Check the other two and they were open too! Replaced now all work. I ask you......what are the odds of all 3 burned out all at the same time? Voltage in the rig has been 12.9-13.6V.

Sometimes weird things happen to me....I may have somekinda strange mojo going on. Should I have Theresa, the Long Island medium come do a reading on this thing? rockin'

When a strong enough magnetic field is place in proximity to an electrical object, such as your halogen lights, it can cause an overload. From what I have read on this forum, you have a magnetic personality - so you probably had a brain storm when you were by the sofa

A good tinfoil hat will protect you from these problems.

I think most of us will believe the kissin account before we'll fall for the brain storm...
Actually Rockin, the reason for the bulb failure might be explained by the installation, if you installed them without covering your hands. The oil from a persons hands will cause halogens to fail in short time.

I think the BS got to such a high level that it shorted out all the bulbs at the same time. The good thing is you must have opened the door to let some of the BS out and saved the ceiling lights from burning out also. My reasoning is from your last post in the Off Topic thread.

87, you must not have read my post on that very thing a while back.....anyway they were the lights installed at the factory.

I always use alcohol and tissue on the bulbs and use my custom wooden cloth pin installer!!! rockin'
