I had not realized, but my faucet has been leaking. It appears to be at the base of the faucet. I cannot reach up into the area. I see two copper pipes coming out of a small connection. What can I do?

2 goldens,

Needs more info to help. If you can get up under there with a flashlight and determine if it's leaking when the water facuet itself is off and where it appears to dripping/leaking from. Or is it leaking where the faucet mates with the countertop? Another words water off the counter leaking by the seal where the faucet and CT meet. My Moen worked OK for around 2 years. It started leaking internally and I elected to buy a fresh one ($125.00-Lowes)and just installed it.

It is my understanding that Moen will warranty all internal parts (parts only) for lifetime. I'd call the 800 number tomorrow to be sure.

In the mean time get a bucket on the floor to catch those dripins's.

It started seeping around the bottom of the faucet where it meets the countertop. I don't know how to remove the faucet. How did you do it when you can't get to the faucet from underneath?

Here's a faucet tool that I use to reach hard to get to areas. Mostly on water line connections but does work on the larger nuts that secures the faucet to the counter, depending on the way the nuts are made.

Basin Wrench

The single lever faucet in our 5th wheel's kitchen sink started leaking from the same place. A trip to Home Depot located a Moen replacement. Moen might have warrantied the replacement, but I didn't have to go that far as DoubleTree sent me a check for the replacement faucet within a few days.

Here's a few web links that might help.

INSTALLING A KITCHEN FAUCET
REPAIR A KITCHEN FAUCET
TROUBLESHOOTING chose product on the right side if different.

I use a 4 inch sq miror to look at and inspect those type of places. Ensure your supply lines and faucet nuts are tight before pulling the faucet out.

2 Goldens,

I'm lucky to have a cabinet door close to my kitchen faucet. Here is a pic of the setup. Simply need a 9/16 open or box end wrench or a deep socket. Quite simple set up. HTHs rockin'
BTW in this pic...on the right is hot water and left cold...center is the sprayer FYI

I appreciate everyone's input. I cannot get to the underneath part of the faucet because it is behind two sinks. I took 3 pictures but do not know how to put them on the site for you to see. Can anyone tell me how to do that?

When you are posting to this group, look at the top of the page where you are typing your post...you will notice a smiley face icon, a pallet icon, etc. Between the e-mail icon (envelope) and the Code icon ( </> ), you'll see the "Display Image" icon. Click on that and put in the URL where the image resides on the Internet.

That's the thing...pictures were not on the net, but in my pictures folder. I did a search for how to upload the pictures and now "waiting approval." I have a 33RSE in the event someone else with the same setup had the same problem. I am not even sure if there is a site to turn off the water to the sink, or if I turn it off to the whole trailer.

I only posted two of your photos, two looked the same to me.

I don't have a separate shutoff on any of my faucets, if like mine will have to shut off the water to the unit.

Can't tell from the second photo, will look at it closer in my photo program...but looks simular to mine but different from this angle. Mine is different from Rockin's mount. But for now believe the white ring, if like mine, has 3-4 screws that apply pressure to the bottom of the sink, compression, that would need to be loosened to remove faucet and then piping pulled/lifted through hole.

Thank you for the pictures. I have one more that I uploaded to show the faucet on top. The first picture above shows the sinks on each side and pipe in back. The second picture shows what I can see from laying underneath. There is no way I can put my fingers in to disconnect anything or tighten anything let alone with a tool.
