Sitting here on the computer and watching TV last night getting ready to go the hot tub, we experienced a weird situation. All of a sudden Journey went to rockin' (no pun intended!). I first thought someone backed into it or hit it with a car/truck. I jumped up and ran outside. Most folks were standing in the street wondering what the heck was that? Within seconds it came to mind - earthquake. One of philosophers at the hot tub was a geologist and he figured it was about 3.0 magnitude. Now I know how Journey feels going down the average highway!! Oh well, good bye Kansas Tornados and hello California earthquakes!!!
Hey Virg.....did you have any thing like that in the swamps of Florida? Alligators come ringing your doorbell or the like?

We used to live in southern CA--- a 4.5 is decent sized.
When we hit the road later this year we'll be heading out there as my inlaws live near where you are--Redlands. My father-in-law just turned 95! If there are any fans of OLD TIME baseball out there his brother Lonny Frey turned 98 last summer. Played for CUBS, NY, CINCINATTI, & more. In fact I think Uncle Lonny & someone named Felder are the only 2 still alive players from the first All Star game.

I think he forgot the nipple (makes you drink slower) and gulped down the whole bottle in one swallow.

Rockin, Thats so funny!!! I experienced my first earthquake in 99 in my King of the Road. It woke me up about 3 am, and being around tornadoes my first reaction was to open the door to look outside to access the outdoors. I laughed at myself for this “what the heck am I going to do if there was a crack heading my way” Nothing!!! But this is why a RV is perfect, I always have my fresh water tanked filled in case something happens and there is no water. I can boil it and survive in case an earthquake ruins the water supply. Well, there are no earthquakes down here but...the earth does move occasionally.

You'll have to ask Miss Jo, it's her quote.
