It depend on the inverter location. Is it running cool enough and not in with flooded acid batteries ? Battery acid fumes can eat the circuit boards.
If the fridge is large, the startup load may be over the surge limits of the inverter. Over time that may stress it.
Dust and dirt can block the cooling fan causing it to overheat. A larger inverter may run cooler, needing less fan running time.
I run a ProWatt 2000 for 10 years now, in my boat, with a 120 volt fridge, TV and occasional microwave use.
The ProWatt doesn't have a auto transfer switch but I just let it run the items listed, full time, and let the solar, alternator or generator keep the batteries up.
