Jackson, Wyo. to Victor, Idaho

Anyone pulled your RV from Jackson, Wyo. to Victor, Idaho on highway 22 ? The last time we were in Yellowstone , someone told me hwy 22 was narrow, lots of switch-backs, steep grades and generally just not RV friendly. Any opinions?

Glad to hear you are getting on the road. Have wondered about you. We're at Smith Center headed for Angel Fire when we get the go word. I think noon is it but we're staying the night, don't want to head west in the 100 plus heat in the afternoon.

the road over the Teton pass is quite steep and long. For me, and I have driven my auto that way many times, is not the best for an rv. Many trucks and rvs go around thru swan valley then to victor

Thanks everyone for the info. I was pretty sure that's what I was told when we in Jackson in 2011. I have pulled my Excel over Wolf Creek several times but that is a good road. A few gentle curves and a continuous steep grade, but no strain no pain. Love my Duramax love my Excel!

Co, we are trying some short trips. I am still recovering from the back surgery. Having some issues with siatica and stiff muscles. Maybe some scar tissue, also.
We used to ski at Angle Fire and Red River, back in the day! Pretty country.
Good thing Smith Center stayed open, huh?
