Keyless entry lock not working

I found this post but couldn't reply to it:

Tnx again Reese. Pried the keypad from the door, unscrewed the 8 teeny tiny screws, replaced the battery (CR 2032), cleaned the goop off the door (thanks WD40) and restuck the keypad with double stick tape. Didn't have to reprogram/mate the keypad; same codes worked.

Now I can put away my keys. Yay.

I was able to pop the keypad off the door and changed the battery but, was unable to make it lock/unlock the door. I have a sheet on changing the factory code. That did not work. I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on how to pair the keypad to the doorlock? Right now all key presses light up the 9-0 key.

That is not the lock used on 2012 Excel units. Here is a picture of the keypad that mounts to the door with two way tape.

Here is a paper that came with our 2014 for that lock which we do not have hope this helps you.

Thanks for that.....It is also the sheet I have. Just wondering if there was something else to the Voodoo magic reprogramming sequence.

Do you have this style inside door if so there is a little hole above the on / off switch that you can push with a pen to reset with the key pad.

No that's not it but I did do a search on Google and found a document that may do the trick.
