We're set up for the winter in Key West and I'm thinking about support for the sewer hose. In the past, I've used plastic gutter for support but seems like it would be wise to use PVC in this application for support and for protection from the sun. Anyone ever buy a couple and more PVC pipe and make an extension for the Pivot Ease? Any issues with doing so? Anyone know the PVC size?

I use small bungees to retain the pipe halves to the eyelets. Up and out of the way! Works good for me. I'm not the originator of this idea, but I sure use it. I put a couple of photos in the 5th Wheel Photo part of this website named "sewer extension" and "sewer extension storage".

If your like me....all the explaination in the world doesn't do it like pix. (part of the country boy IQ 14 thing!) I don't know if I have any already taken....but for you...I'd take a few and not even charge you much!!

Ha. Just let me know. It may take a day or two as we are traveling everyday going to PI and don't always have access to WiFi.

Thanks to your ideas...I got it figured out...I need a stick of 5" PVC and a couple. Shouldn't be a big issue. I'll let you know how it turns out.

You bet! No fair painting your sewer set up with red, white, and blue emron.....that would not be fair! No racing stripes either!

Hey Tom,

I was looking at the photos you posted, and I have one question to ask you. . . . The clock you added down by your dump valves. . . . Is that so you know when it is time to dump your tanks????

OMG Doug.....I think I have met my match.

Seriously, I use it to time the water I put back in the black after a dump and flush! Depending on water pressure usually about 20 to 30 seconds does the trick.

Also it comes in handy when Momma tells me to be back inside at a certain time after playing.

And also my bride says I have a bit of an obsesion with clocks and watches. Prior to retiring....when I changed the clocks in the house for daylight saving time it took about 2 hrs.

One day Donna said "how many clocks". I said "don't know". So I counted them. 34 in all!!! This is not normal!

We are down to 8 in Journey and Tug...gotta downsize when your FTing.

Don't know if you guys are interested, but have you thought about using a Sewer Solution? I have one, and these things work fantastic! They look nice, and no more handling of the "stinky slinky" hose.

I suppose your going to be there this weekend. Sorry I already have plans so you can't inspect my unit.

Boy is this an old post... Larry, you don't have to worry, I'm in Medora, ND now. No inspection this time. Workshop would be a better guy to consult as he's into restoration of antiques!
