Unveiling

Liked the floor plan and the more open living area. The only thing I did not care for were the steps in the stow position. I think it detracts from the overall appearance.

I too thought it was pretty impressive. Now-if only money were no object so we could afford to trade every year LOL

I kind of thought the same thing when I first saw the pictures, but most of the time is spent parked with them down. When you're towing you are not looking at them, except for maybe in your rear view mirror.

A door system with integral steps could be designed to allow the steps to be stored inside the door.

It would require a complete door and step redesign.

I would be nice if there could be a powered step system like on a motorhome. I'm sure that is not possible because of the clearance needed underneath. Plus it would be more complicated as most motorhomes have only one or two steps.

Char and I were there for the unveilling.. very nice! You really do walk into a grand entry area of the interior.. really like the upstairs full bath and down stairs half bath. the Rhino eco roof will solve roof issues for ever. It was great to see Ralph, Kathy and staff was well as Bryan again. Good job guys!

If the Rhino roof would have been introduced a few moths earlier I'd have it on my Winslow. I think it's the future for RV roofs.

Regarding the steps. Couple of things I've been thinking about. Was there additional support built into the slide for the door/step setup? The door can only opened to 90*. If you needed to have a completely opened door to remove furniture, etc., is the step assembly reasonably easy to remove? Just some thoughts and questions. Thanks, rockin'

Tom,

We do add additional support into the sidewall for the step attachment. However, with the adjustable legs there is very little weight and virtually no leverage put on the wall.

The steps are attached with twelve #10 Screws (6 per side) and could be removed in a matter of minutes.

Thanks,
Bryan

Kewl, thanks Bryan!

I REALLY like this floor plan....but I'm not sure I could stoop all the way down to a Winslow Goodness sakes alive! Having two bathrooms would be nice........especially during happy hours when some of my low-life friends get impatient and........well you know!
rockin's wound up today!

Ha! When we first looked at the Winslow at RV Sales (back in 2009), Kathy started building the list of options.......and finally turned to me and said "Tom, let's face it.....your a Limited type of guy"......and now that I think about it.....it may have been meant as an insult (ie snob) but I wasn't sharp enough to catch it at the time.

All kidding aside.....with what they are doing in the Winslow today, I just may do one. Of course if we had one built, I'd get all the goodies Doc has on his, but add a third A/C.....cause he ain't got one!!! It's all about the most boy-toys! Bet Bryan is loving this thread!!! $$$$$$
