Smile Replacing decals

I would like to replace some or all of the decals on my 2007 Excel 30RSO. Does anyone know of a source for the decals? What's your experience in doing work yourself?

Thanks

There are so many companies that make decals for RVs. Google them up. I know folks that have taken pix of their decals and they can make them from that. A friend wanted to update his older Excel, came and took photos of my rig decals and a company in San Bernardino, CA made them. Lots of youtubes showing how to replace. This is not a cheap task!!! I bought a complete set of graphics from RV Stripes & Graphics in Apache Junction, AZ. I was there this week to have them install a couple that I could not get on that I would be satisfied with. Steve is very nice and will give you any advise you need to install the graphics. I live near San Bernardino and had talked to place there about my graphics. They were over twice the cost then Steve was. The graphics from RV Stripes & Graphics are very good quality. They have been on for almost two years, except for the ones installed this week and still look like new.

We have local company that does decals for semis etc and will do rvs. Talked to them once but at that time we just getting info. Though no actual price given got definite idea pricey. We will just keep using gorilla glue for the curling issues. :-)

I would remove the failing graphics and not replace them. Compound and polish the gelcoat where they are removed.

I planned to order my '03 trailer without graphics. My wife said no to that. I spent the final 3 years removing the failed stripes and letters and polishing the gel coat.

Just my 2 cents....

Last year I stopped and talked to Steve at RV Stripes and Graphics in AJ and he quoted me about $3200 for a complete set of graphics installed on my 2007 35FLR. A little to spendy for me so I will just remove as necessary and then leave it. Kinda like ghost graphics.

Same quote for mine, biggest cost is removing the old graphics. I removed mine myself and bought the new graphics from Steve for $1,650. Installed the graphics myself with help from wife and daughters boyfriend. Could not get the two that wrapped around each front corner to go on the way I would like them. Drove to AJ to have Steve install them. Steve tried to talk me through the corner installation but we just couldn't do it. Steve started to do the corners by himself but had to get another guy to help. Steve said it was harder to do the corners then he thought. When I talked to the place in San Bernardino on the phone was told to remove and install the graphics would be around $10,000. I could get them painted for that price.

We're thinking about a a vehicle wrap done for the WC. They say the wrap will last for 5-7 years, which is as long as the original decals have lasted. Cost is dependent on how much artwork you include, and could range from $1500 - $4000.
