Among other reasons a SeeLevel display in the wet bay is invaluable when flushing the black tank.

I ran all separate wiring as I wanted to continue using the OEM tank level system display that is mounted inside the coach.

That's a significantly more complicated task on my Excel. The belly covering and insulation must be removed to access the tanks.
I had hoped to splice into the wiring near the existing SeeLevel gauge and run new wires from that point to the second display.
I'll check with the manufacturer before I tackle the project.

If you already have a SeeLevel Tank level system installed, then it will be very easy to install a second display by taping into the existing wires.
If you contact SeeLevel, they can give you firsthand information on how to do that along with the part number you will need to order for the second display.
In my case I did not have an OEM SeeLevel Tank Level system. It was some other brand. So I installed a separate SeeLevel system with new sensors etc.

I decided to install a second SeeLevel system with the display in the service bay. Works awesome and always accurate.

Interesting picture Richard what is the rolling pin laying on paper towels used for???
xx2--I would think a gauge in sewer bay would help when cleaning out the black tanks with rinse hose connected as Bob said.

People line up to take a look at the levels and demand he let them empty his tanks for him. The rolling pin keeps them in line.

Thanks, Richard.
That was the news I wanted to hear.
I already have a SeeLevel system installed. Love it. Just want a second display in the wetbay.
I'll contact the manufacturer for instructions on installing a second display to an existing system.

Yes, providing that you have access to the tanks and have a sufficient amount of real estate space on one end to apply the sensor allowing you to read the level of the tank.

I got tired of having to roll up the paper towel while having the service bay door open when the wind was blowing up a storm. The rolling pin keeps the towels in place.

Hey Doc,
I have thought the same thing. It would be nice to have a SeeLevel in the utility center. I may eventually have it installed, but for now Janis and I use a pair of walkie-talkies. I stay outside and she monitors the display. The radios are cheap and we use them for communicating when backing in or pulling in and out of a parking space. Just recently, she kept me from hitting a limb on the blind side while backing into a tight space. the limb wasn't big enough to do any real damage. Could have scratched the finish.

Carl,
We've used walkie talkies in the past, but were forgetting to use, misplacing them or greeted to dead batteries.
My truck has blue tooth. My wife now calls my cell while I'm backing the trailer and we can communicate. Hands free (at least for me).
