RV stores sell a slide lube in spray can and you just spray the metal rams and gears that drive slides from underneath no real special lube points, basically anything metal with teeth.

Our trailer is an '09 33TKE. This is the first trailer we've owned with slides so I used what I thought was a common sense approach to slide operation. My process is as follows; level side to side using blocks under the tires, drop dollies and disconnect truck, level front to back, lower rear stabilizers just enough to contact the ground and with just enough pressure to stabilize. At this point I operate the slides and I don't always operate the bedroom first.

Note: I NEVER level the coach side to side using the jacks. I have found it aggrivating and feel it puts the coach on a bind. I never operate one jack or one side at a time, only both fronts or both rears.

If there are lube points for the slides I'll need to investigate that as we haven't had a lot of time to get to know our trailer. If it needs routine lubrication I should get on that because the dinette slide has started to screech a little as it starts to roll in.

Thanks, everyone, for the responses!
Kyle,

I suggest starting with a rag and some kind of cleaning solvent and clean your rams if that hadn't been done so for a while. Then apply pure spray silicone on the rams liberally. After that I usually do the solvent clean every 6 months or so. I respray the silicone about every 10-12 slide cycles. Hope this helps. Silicone is good about not attracting dirt like some other lubricants. I get mine at Wally World in the automotive section. Seems to be a good price. rockin'
