I was just curious, is it safe, or OK to stand on the slide out roofs ? Is there any matinenence to these like a rubber roof ? I started to stand on it, and I didn't like the sounds coming out under my feet, and got back on the fiberglass roof.

Good morning Roger;

The slide out roofs are not meant to be walked/stood on. One should clean them or do maintenance on them from the main roof or a ladder. Thanks for asking ahead of time.

Roger,
I don't stand on mine. I'm over 200 lbs. and they appear to be to soft for my weight. I wash mine with a mild dish soap and treat it with 303 protectant. At the same time I check the caulking real close as I know of 2 owners who have had too repair the slides due to leaks.
