2goldens,
If you're comfortable getting on the roof, I don't see why you couldn't do it. The kit has detailed instructions. Quite easy. It is about a 30 minute job.

BTW....did you get that courtesy lite bulb replaced? Didn't hear back. Let us know. Tom

I am up on the roof every time I wash the rig. I start at the top. Good, I will send an e-mail.

And no, I just gave up on the courtesy light.
I have another question maybe you can help with. I was just at a park for a month and asked them to check my unit all over as I have travelled for a year now and thought I should have some things looked at; they didn't have time before I left. Furnace, air conditioner, slides, hot water tank, etc. more or less a tune-up like I do with my truck. Is this something I should do? They didn't seem to think anything was necessary unless it was broke.

2goldens,

If you send me your email address, I will send you pix of the courtesy lite change. Also I'll send you some basic items that need regular maintenance on your Excel, many of which are found in your owner's manual.

Thanks Chief,

Give and take, we all need help from time to time. Together we can make it happen.
