Dri Wash 'n Guard Premium Metal Polish applied with an orbital buffer followed by Dri Wash Ultra Ion. Results blew me away.
I still don't sell the stuff.....yet.

Thanks Virg,
I'm confused though. You said you used the "metal polish product" to do the end caps. The website talks about using this on metal, bumpers, stacks, etc. not really intended for a painted surface. Are you sure it wasn't the Oxygone product you were using? confusedrockin'

??? I'm not the one who drinks OakPoop ,

Those of us not smart enough to fix cars (or anything else) end up just wiping on them. I fall in that catagory. So consequently, I've learned a few things about detailing over the years. I'm telling you, this is the best stuff I've found.

I used the Premium Metal Polish "off label". You could use Oxygone but I'm told it takes more applications. The metal polish must have more "cutting" agent. I went from "chaulky" to looking 75-80% new in one application.

I'm hoping that using Ultra Ion after the metal polish will make the shine last longer than a week, I'll let you know.

Larry,

You must have more hot air out there today. We only got up to 6* for a high after a over night low of -7 this morning. Of couse those light weights down south could handle this type of weather.

Light weights...maybe....wiser than you...obviously! Just a "cable guy" right?

You can tell....it's way cold and rainy here...allowing for this type of behavior...it's not my fault...not my fault!

Well, Us lightweights in Moriarty NM have a current temp of 19F 5PM and before, none of that C stuff. We are headed down tonight. Now these are not Maine Temps I so used to love, but cold is cold. The snow that is coming down just warms the heart. A margarita in a hot tub sure sounds good about now.

MM,

Are you implying something here? I thought so!!!

Moto,

On several occassions here lately you've talked of "margaritas".....you may have something goin' on there.... I like your style!

Tomorrow we're having our snooty Country Coach neighbors over for margaritas, homemade carne guisada tacos, Spanish rice, beans, and fideo. Looks like it may be a "Prilosec" day!!!
