What is the brand name? If they are Fan-Tastic Fan brand the lids have a lifetime warranty, the rest has a 2-yr warranty.
Instructions are included with new lids. I replaced 2 of mine in approx. 45 minutes, and I'm 79.
If you do not have plastic rain shields over them, the only tool needed is a Phillips screwdriver. It does take 2 people or you find yourself running up/down the ladder several times manually raising/lowering the lid during installation.
