Hello! Just purchased a 1992 27' Excel Legacy for other family members to use and join us at our permanent CG spot. The old bird is in pretty good shape for her age.
I want to setup a water heater bypass system to allow winterizing with antifreeze. Has anyone done this to one of these older units with a gas only WH?

I think there's two or more ways to do it. If you can get to the back of the water heater it shouldn't be do difficult. I think I would opt for the three valve setup than the valves would all be there for future troubleshooting.
good luck
