I try to plan my fresh water tank refills based on the weather forecast for the next few days. Even then I find myself performing the Olympic hose coiling event in single-digit temps.

The flexibility of the Armadillo hose is good in cold weather. I've had mine for over a year.
Mine are steel. I have not camped in single digit temps with them.
They do offer a heated version that might be beneficial in sub-freezing weather.
