Which hitch is which?

Ok everyone. What's the best hitch out there for you all. Trailer Saver, MorRyde, Airborne? Hit me with your advice.

I really like our TrailAire -- had the factory hitch and then went with a GlideRide and the TrailAire has made a noticeable difference in reducing the bouncing forces on the Excel.

I have Mor-Ryde suspension with the Glide-Ride pin box and everything in the trailer rides GREAT!! If you don't get any of these options make sure you get the Disc Brakes. They are the best investment you can make.

What are you pulling with? If it is a MDT or HDT I would go with a Trailersaver air hitch on the truck. Trailair, MorRyde and Fifth Airborn are pinbox hitches on the fifth wheel, with MorRyde being a rubber bushing to help cushion the ride. The other two are air ride pin boxes.

Same here.

As for the hitch itself, because we knew we would eventually buy a slide-in truck camper, we wanted a hitch that, when removed, would leave a totally clean bed. So we bought the Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch together with the Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch.

I have this same set up (Mor/ryde IS) and share Squirrel's feelings. Same on the Disc Brakes - don't do it without 'em.

2 cents

I have a B & W Companion and pull a 30 RSO, glideride pin box, but not the moreride or disc brakes. Tow vehicle is a 3500 Dodge Ram CTD, with DRW and a LB. This is my first 5th wheel so I don't have anything to compare with (former TT owner) but I love my set up. Tows like a dream. Very smooth with the glide ride and the B&W is very easy to operate. Looks good too
