2014 "Gathering in the Desert" January 15-22, 2014

Below is the most recent flyer with information on the 2014 "Gathering in the Desert". NKK Gathering in the Desert is a "No Host" Event, but there will be some planned activities (see below) weather permitting. If you are in the area stop by, join us for an hour, day, or the entire event.

Gathering in the Desert
January 15-22, 2014

Come join us in Quartzsite, Arizona.
This year’s hosts will be Ted & Ruth Ann
Hindes and co-hosts are Kay & Spike Kramer.
NEW Email tednruthy@hindesfamily.net
Cell 231 233-4467

All Newmar owners and guests of Newmar owners are encouraged to attend. The Hosts and Co-Hosts are members of both the Newmar FMCA Chapter and the Newmar Kountry Klub. You are not required to be members of either to come join us. Planned so far will be campfires with hotdogs & marshmallows for campfires, a Baked Potato and salad night with all the fixings, a ‘Soup Dump’ (Bring a can of soup) and one potluck meal. Also there will be as many social hours (3PM start) as the weather permits!

No pre-registration required and no rally fee. A ten dollar donation per rig will be suggested to cover the cost of the hot dogs, marshmallows and other food items provided.

Location: We will be in the same area as in the past – South of I-10 below Quartzsite. Go 6.2 miles south on Hwy 95 (south of Milepost 99). Turn west on 53rd St North (formerly LaPaz Valley Rd) about 200 yards and then go northwest into the desert. Follow the Newmar Kountry Klub signs, the first sign will be where you turn off Hwy 95 to the right south of milepost 99.

Come early and/or stay later or just stop by to
visit if you can.

Spike

Thanks for the Post Spike

I have received several inquiries about the 'Gathering' We are planning and hoping for over 60 coaches which is about where we ended up the past two years. Keep your fingers crossed for nice weather. We will likely be there a few days early. Ted & Ruthy
