House Battery Charge

Just replaced my 6 house batteries with new Trojan T-105 6V 221 AH AMG. I have a Magnum Charger/Inverter MS 2012. I live in my coach full time and am hooked up to 50 amp shore power. I've had the batteries for about 2 weeks. When I got back to my site I called Magnum to make sure I had it set up to properly maintain a charge. The guy walked me through the menu on the controller and I was good to go. Now while I'm plugged in to shore was in a Float status and the batteries were showing about 13.4 to 13.6. A maintenance guy had to replace an A/C plug in my pedestal this morning and disconnected me from shore power. When I checked the battery voltage after the Inverter?converter switched over it was showing 12.6 volts on the batteries which seemed kind of low for fully charged new batteries. Now I'm back on shore power and the Inverter/Charger is in the Absorb mode and is showing 14.9 volts. Is this normal?

A battery at rest , about a hour after charging , will show 12.6v as full charge . During float charging 13.2v - 13.4v is what the batteries will show when fully charged .
You're good , everything's working properly .

Battery University

I agree with Bill above. Everything is good to go.
A battery being discharged shows lower terminal voltage than with no load. The more current being drawn, the lower the voltage will be. When the high current stops, the voltage will slowly rise.

The static voltage tables only apply when there is no current being drawn and the battery has not been charging for a few hours.
So you have one voltage behavior when discharging. You have another when charging, and a third when in static state.
