Looking for former owner; I have treasures!

Our new to us 2002 Dutch Star 4097 came equipped with a surprise. Is my 7th or 8th motorhome in my life, I always think this one will be the last....

I often wonder (after the fact) 'Did I get everything out of the one I just sold?'

We all have discovered little hiding places as we use our coaches. I will hide everything from money, guns, ammo, important documents, stuff like that. Primarily from the kids, grandkids, thieves as well. I am famous for hiding stuff from myself.

We are looking for the former owner of our coach. They 'hid' a file box stuffed with every important paper they ever needed. Birth certs, marriage certs, motorcycle titles, taxes, you name it. We have done every kind of internet search possible. Called every similar name telephone number. Nothing. They are just like us. Sold all the addresses, went full-time and are somewhere trying to rebuild their paper lives. I have it all for them.

Doug and Lori Nason. New Hampshire, Texas, Massachusetts, Boulder City, NV.

They are someone's neighbor now. Help me return their stuff. None of their addresses are theirs anymore.

Thanks in advance.

Michael.

If you have their taxes, then I would guess that you have their SSN's. Would the IRS help you get in touch with them (I hope you didn't hurt yourself laughing!)

I suspect the IRS is busy these days pointing fingers, and has no time to 'help' anyone.

Same here. Douglas Lee Nason. trail goes cold in Surprise, AZ in 2010. My postcard to that address comes back as 'undeliverable, no forwarding address.'

Thanks everyone, I believe we have struck out.

locating

what about ancestery.com? a social security office might help you indirectly, another agency that helps children adopted, might be willing indirectly to contact the people giving them your name and phone and they have access to ss infor, this would be family and children's services. we once returned some keys with a little creative investigation. another thought is a sheriff's office with internet search, just thoughts, you are so thoughtful to try to return these documents....good luck.

I wonder if you phoned Newmar and had them check the name against owners who have purchased new. Have the VIN with you. These folks might have been the original owners and if so Newmar will have recorded their personal info.

Just keep em somewhere, and when the owners realize what happened,I am sure they will get in touch with the Dealer, and in turn contact you.

What kind of paper trail does the dealer where you purchased it have ie. bank payoff, was it traded in on a new coach etc?

I found my long lost stepdaughter after 15 some odd years on facebook. Maybe you could have similar luck using it or other similar forums.

If you suspect they went full time, try the mail forwarding places, of which only a few are used by fulltimers. Make sure your postcard 'stands out' so it will not get thrown out with 'junk' mail.

One last thought, maybe call or contact some national talk show hosts, tv or radio shows, or even Americas Most Wanted [are they still making new shows?]

Good luck-don't loose faith, with enough perseverance you will find them.

Thanks. We stay away from social media even before we knew the government was monitoring and tracking.

It's been long enough now if they needed these docs, they would have surfaced. We put them in our storage room.
