Wife and I just purchased our 2015 Dutch Star 37' while at the Florida RV Show on Thursday. Tried to find the NKK but got lost. We did have fun though. Q: How do we become members of NKK? Will we get membership with purchase of our new Newmar? Another question is does the Dutch Star come with a electrical protection system, like the being sold thru Progressive Industries?

Can't wait to get it and start our new travels.

Thanks John. We should be picking it up from North Trail RV, Ft Lauderdale in the next couple of days. Have to wait for them to clear out the show and get it down to us. When we get it we will post some pic's.

Welcome to iRV2 and the Newmar Owners Forum. The answer to your question is no. The DSDP does not come with surge protection from shore power.

One does not receive a NKK membership with the purchase of a coach. The NKK does has a special deal. If you purchase the first year, Newmar will purchase the second year. We have a 16 dutchstar and did join the NKK at the show. Where can I find the listing of chapter areas. We live in south Sarasota county Florida

Welcome 101st Screamin Eagle. Hooah from retired US Army lSG. Reference which Klub to join their are 4 in Florida. As Gary stated look on NKK site and take a look around. There all great and the comradely between the Newmar owners is Unserpassable. ...and to add what these fine folks have told you, each of the 9 regions of the Klub have Facebook pages plus one for the Full Timers. Just search on Facebook for Newmar Kountry Klub Region......

Took a look and was only able to find the NKK Facebook page. Couldn't find region or chapter pages. Is there one chapter better than the others. I guess it would come down to the geographic area that they cover.

Go to the link in my previous post. The Pelicans, Manatees and Sea Turtles all overlap each other. The reason is there are so many Florida members smaller chapters are easier to manage and have local rallies. In the winter it is impossible to have a local rally with 100+ coaches. However, local rallies can be held with about 20 coaches per rally.

Thanks for the info. I spoke to the state president yesterday and he is going to pass my contact info along to chapter presidents. I see they have a luncheon in ft myers. Going to try and get to that.
