1996 Daybreak

On the dash I have a silver starter bypass button. I have no clue what this is for. Can someone enlighten me?

A picture would be helpful but I would guess it is the "boost" switch which combines the coach and chassis batteries to start the engine should the chassis battery be too low. Odd it would be labeled "bypass" so it may have a different function.

The previous owner called it a bypass switch. I have heard mention on MHs that it had a way to boost the engine battery if needed. Just did not want to press and find out it was an ejection button for the DW
