2007 Daybreak Track Bar

I have a 2007 Daybreak 3270 and even though I find the handling to be pretty good I would like to improve it's performance in side wind and truck passing situations. I understand that Ford added a front bar to this chassis but have any of you added a rear bar such as the Henderson's? SuperSteer Trac Bar for Ford F53 Class A Motorhome Chassis, 20,000-22,000 GVW
I would appreciate your comments about the results. Thanks!

No personal experience, but many have added them and are happy with it. I would suggest before you do this, that you perform the "Cheap Handling Fix" outlined in this thread for F53 chassis. It costs nothing and greatly improves anti-sway, passing trucks, curves, ect.

clyon51 I read the entire thread! Very interesting but I just don't feel comfortable making such changes, at least without aftermarket longer links. Overly cautious I suppose. Like I said it really handles pretty good and I was wondering if the track bar would be a noticeable improvement.

The cheap handling fix coupled with the rear track bar is the way to go for the most bang for the buck, IMHO. You likley do not need longer links. If not wanting to DIY, a shop can do both for a couple three hours labor charge. Have the sway bar bushings inspected and changed if needed while doing the work. Also a good chassis lube - have them be sure to hit all the lube points.

Thanks vsheetz that sounds like a good plan. I will for sure not be doing this myself. I have my rig serviced at the local Ford Dealer fleet/rv service dept. Should I try there or an RV service type shop?

I added the Blue Ox Tiger Trak, along with the Blue Ox tru center steering control and the control is great. I use to get really tire and had to work the wheel, now steering and control is effortless. Most of the time I don't notice a big rig passing by until the are on the side of my window.
