Unhappy Brake and tail lights not working... Bizarre...

Weirdest thing I've ever seen. 2002 Damon Intruder, 8.1, W22 Workhorse. No brake lights, tail lights or turn signals on the two main red light pucks only, both of which are less than a year old. If I turn on the hazard flashers or turn signals, all the side markers and corner markers flash as they should. Only the two red puck lights in the rear of the coach don't work.

They're both pretty new TruckLite units so I can hardly believe they'd both go bad at the same time. Has anyone run across a fuse, breaker or a bad ground that killed your tail lights while everything else still worked???

Lighting on the rear cap of the coach will have it's own ground to the frame ,you'll need to trace and test the ground.

On our 2003, the red puck lites have a separate ground and 12v wire from the rest of the lites. There is a connector in the harness (driver side) near the bumper/frame junction.

Thanks for the replies. Unbelievably, ALL THREE brake lights were burnt out. The third brake light fixture got filled with water and the bulb burst. Did that knock out the pucks? I don't know. But I replaced them all and sure enough, all is well. Crazy.
