brake lights

Have a 2001 daybreak ,have no break lights or cruise control need help

Check your brake light switch. It's mounted on a support down by the pedal pivot and is activated when you depress the brake pedal. A test light or ohm meter will tell you if it is working. One wire to it will be hot all the time, and the other wire off it will be hot when it is operated. You may have another switch like it that works as a cut off for the cruise. I would suspect a loose connection or blown fuse on that circuit.
