I see your not getting any help yet.

Can you drop a vent surround and peek into the attic and measure ?
Vents would be on the side of ceiling frame , A/C will be mounted to 2 frames. Always found the layout of the frames easy to figure from on top of the roof. But I've only had a rubber roof on my RVs.

Go out in the early morning hours and if there is some dew out you will be able to see where the members are.

Hope this helps

I would suspect that the frame that you are wanting to know about is at the a/c units and 1 on each end.

You can download the owners manual from thor.com and probably find what you seek.

I can only find 2006 manual on their site. Nothing for a 96 Model.

Wow! I know this is old but I just ran across your question. I asked the same thing a month ago. If you haven't done so as yet, peruse the threads and you should find mine.
