charging question for Damon Challenger

With our 2010 Damon challenger 368 plugged into shore power does it charge the chassis battery? I know it charges the house batteries.

Thanks

Bob

Put a meter on the battery while plugged into shore power and see if you are getting 13 volts or more. If so that would indicate whether or not it is charging.

I sure hope so ! My 2001 Damon Daybreak has a B.I.R.D so all batteries are charged by shore power and by the alternator. As the above poster said, check the voltage on the batteries when plugged in. If you don't have a voltmeter, unplug and turn on the headlights for a few minutes to discharge the coach battery. Then plug it in. The lights should brighten. It could take a few minutes or might be immediate.
If you don't have a volt meter, Wally World has them for less than $20.00. Good investment.
