The easiest way to tell if this is a P30 or a P32 chassis is to look at where the front tires line up with the rear tires. If they are aligned with the inside rear tires then you have a P30 chassis, if they are aligned with the outside rear tires you have a p32 chassis.

I believe if the second letter in the Vin Number is a "B", it is a workhorse. Not sure for Ford or any other manufacture. I'm surprised it does not say by the door on a decal, 3270W (Workhorse) or 3270F (Ford). But I do know you can tell buy the Vin Number. There is a thread here on how to read those Vin Numbers and what each letter and number stand for.


As far as a p30 or P32? X2 on legrandnorm post. The Vin Identification will say also. Mine had a identification card above the drivers seat. I guess you do not have one, but I can tell you the Vin Identification will give you a lot of information. My guess, it would be a P32 just based on the year, but that is not fact. P30 and P32 are used so interchangeably and often incorrectly in parts listing that it really does not matter. Having said that if you have a 1999 chassis built by Workhorse after they bought out the Chevy Motorhome chassis line in I think late 1998 it is a P32.
