Damon Avanti owner electric step issue

Hello, we have the 2806 200 hp model and like it very much. My question is where is the fuse located for the electric step unit? I have searched every fuse box - one under the hood, two under the drivers side of the dash, the panel box under the drawer below the closet in the rear, the fuses under the outside storage bin next to the generator, and looked in the battery bin. The Damon Owners Manual for Avanti that comes with the 2011/2012 years is an old manual used for previous years and the photo on page 89 showing a fuse identified for the step does not exist on our 2011 Freightliner Damon 2806. Power for the step should come from the BCC.

Thank you Harry, but the fuse is not identified and the BBC is much smaller in size than the picture in the manual. I'm wondering now if it is a bad motor because the step light works and I hear the door magnet click when I place a magnet near it. To test the motor I will have to somehow lower the step to remove the motor connector to place the test meter into the motor's plug.

You probably have a kwikee step. There are several posts about extending the step without power
