Damon slide out rocker switch

HI Does anyone know the part number for a 1996 Ultra Sport slide out switch? My slide goes out but not in and I was told it the rocker switch needs to be replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am tired of going underneath the slide and jumping off for it to retract.

That would be a standard switch that can be found at any place that sells car parts or electrical supply outlet. Take the switch out and label the wires in relationship with the SW (draw a little wire diagram or take a picture of it before disconnecting wires) and take the SW into the parts store.

That switch is most likely made by Carling. You can Google "Carlingswitch" to get all the info. They come in SPST (Single Pole Single Throw simple ON/OFF); DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw, ON/OFF/ON); Momentary spring loaded On for a horn, etc. The switch is sold seperately from its actuator and can be illumunated when on or not illuminated at all. Take a thin plastic knife and get under the switch at its top and bottom and work it out. There will be wires attached, so use a plastic knife, and/or better yet, disconnect the batteries. If the switch is Carling, it will have the part number identified on a sticker attached to its side.

Oops. I think that should be a SPDT (Single Pole, Double Throw, On/OFF/ON)
