Damon Tuscany Monitor Fail Light

Today we discovered we had no hot water. We are using the electric side from shore power. I looked in the monitor panel, located above the door, and noticed the Fail light was lit. I turned off the water heater electric switch and the Fail light extinguished. I, then, turned the water heater switch back on and the fail light did not come back on. Now I have hot water. Anyone have any idea what the fail light is telling me?

We have had this happen on our Challenger, but it was when attempting to use the propane to heat water. I understand that the light is a "fail safe" alert to inform us that the attempt to initiate (light) the heater did not occur. By attempting it the second try, it "cleared" the issue with first attempt and worked as intended. I don't see it as a potential issue as long as it is intermittent and doesn't reoccur on a regular basis.

AND
the or one of the temp sensors on the water heater are not making good contact with the tank wall and it will set a fail light
