Hi. I just bought a 2000 Damon Daybreak, dashboard lights do not work. With the lights switch on, if I move the dimmer on(up), all the gauges turn off, dashboard lights still do not work. If I turn the dimmer of (down) or if I turn the light switch off, the gauges come back alive. All confused... Any Ideas?

Most times the gauge package and dash board wiring is supplied by the chassis manufacturer .
So I'll have to ask . What chassis is your coach built on ?

Id say bad ground somewere, possable ground feed to the cluster. I'd start there.

Thanks for your response... here is the information in the chasis. 1997 WORKHORSE P30 - DAMON DAYBREAK - 7.4L V8 OHV 16V

Thanks for adding your chassis info .

As ; sledhead ; stated in his post , it appears the dash lights and gauges are fighting to find good ground , so locating and cleaning the ground for the dash wiring harness would be the first thing to do.
There may even be a ground on the instrument cluster printed circuit board that requires attention.
