Decals changed to paint
replaced my marron decals and the still cracked, see my post http://www.irv2.com/forums/f120/damon-decals-55388.html
I took the back decal off and painted it with Rustolum with a 2" high denisty foam roller. Not perfect but not nearly as bad as decals cracked. More to do now.

I think that the paint job looks good. Please post pics when you get the rest of your rig done.

Now for the curves
I cut electrical tape in about 1/4" and 3/8" through the roll with a razor knife. When you unroll it, it stretches so you have to let it spring back. Then make the form with it and apply painters tape to the electrical tape. Here is the first coat.

Front stripes are done. I'll wait about a week then wet sand, compound and wax them. They are a lot better looking than the old decals.

Yea I bought some 1/4" and 1/2", works good. The electrical tape stretches too much.
