Furnace filter

I have a 2007 Tuscany with an Atwood furnace. The air handler/intake is underneath my refrig. Is there supposed to be a furnace filter there?

Also, the drain line(to empty the tank) for the fresh water tank is very small and drains very slowly. Is there another drain that I am not aware of? The line is about the diameter of my thumb and it's take hours to empty the tank.

My Daybreak has 2 places to drain the tank. It acts like a vent, If I only open 1, it gurgles and drais real slow. Check , you probably have another one, if not try opening the fill valve.

It doesn't look like anyone has answered your filter quesion so here goes...

I've owned over 10 rvs with furnaces and none had filters installed on them. (That would account for the burned dust smell when you light it up for the first time each year.)

I suppose you could install one on the return somehow. I'm guessing if you keep it clean the filter shouldn't interfere with the internal safety sail switch operation that senses sufficient airflow and allows the burner to ignite.

What fill valve? The other drain valve you are referring to is the hose for sucking antifreeze, correct?

The fill valve is where you fill the tank. If you open it , it vents the tank and drains faster. I have 2 drain hoses, one on each side of the coach. However, one 1 is on the bottom of the tank and the other is on the side, leaving about an inch of water.
