I'm not that familiar with a Kohler Genset, but they all seem to have a water temp sensor and a oil pressure sensor that can stop the Genset by putting a "ground" to their input on the Controller. The oil sensor is normally closed, but opens on oil pressure. The water temp senor is normally open and stays open until closed by an over temperature condition. So, you can temporarily open (remove) these connections from the controller and eliminate these as causing the problem. Rook
